It was announced that the new era in the real estate sector will begin in 3 days. According to the news, the EİDS authorization verification application will be fully effective as of January 1, 2025. In this case, homeowners and realtors need to be careful.
The statement regarding the issue was made by Trade Minister Ömer Bolat. In his statement, Bolat stated that a verified advertisement arrangement would be made as of September 15. It was underlined that the authority to be granted would only be valid for the advertisement.
IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT IT WILL NOT BE COVERED
In his statement, the Minister stated that the authority would not include carrying out title deed transactions or making any other dispositions regarding real estate in the real estate enterprise.
Accordingly, the verified advertisement regulation will come into force as of September 15, 2024. It was stated that this practice will be implemented 3 days later in order to protect consumer rights of the Ministry of Commerce, to prevent fake prices that citizens meet with fake advertisements and to prevent informality in real estate trade.
THE OBLIGATION CONTINUES
On the other hand, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat made the following statement on the subject:
“The authority to be given to the real estate business by our citizens is only related to the issuance of advertisements by this business. The authority will not include the real estate business conducting title deed transactions or making any other dispositions regarding the real estate.”
Bolat continued his statement by stating that citizens should not be concerned about the scope of the authority they have granted. The Minister said that this authority to be granted is only related to the issuance of this business advertisement and that real estate businesses should obtain an authorization certificate in a short time in order to avoid any possible victimization.
It has been stated that there is currently a transition period between September 15 and December 31, 2024. The implementation will start in full on January 1, 2025.
